Yesterday was also my last day of school, hopefully forever!!;) I always wanted to become a Mom after I did something that could contribute to all 3 of our futures. Vision fulfilled, and I'm very grateful.
Welcome! Thank you for choosing to be apart of this journey with us. We're so glad we have you along for the ride.

Flagler Hospital
This is where the baby will be born, also where I go for midwife visits. Had blood work done today, my favorite =)

Gender predictions
We've been told we'll be able to find out the sex of our baby Bun on May 27th. (Also the day before I fly home!)
Here are some guesses so far...
Tom: "It hasn't been revealed to me yet."
Pam: Boy
Daniel: Adamant it's a boy
Malia: Boy
Taylor: Girl
Jane: Girl
Lacey: Boy Cat
What's your guess?=)
Our little alligator
That's what Zane is calling the fetus at this point. =) Some of my favorite responses from our Dads:
Papa Phil: "Only parents and grandparents think that's cute, I'm in."
Grampa Tom: "I can't tell yet if it looks more like you or Zane."
First prenatal appointment
Monday we finally got to meet our midwife. I thought it would be a pretty basic appointment (i.e. "Hi, nice to meet you, please pee in a cup, see you next month!") but we actually got to see our baby!!! It made me more emotional than I had anticipated it would. Zane's giant smile will be embedded in my brain for a long time.
April Fool's Day
What a funny day to find out you're pregnant! Also an equally hard day to convince immediate family and friends who know you've been trying for months that it's not a joke! There were a handful of confirmation texts that showed up on my phone April 2nd to make sure it was still true. ;)
